The Who will soon announce the details of their new album, which Pete Townshend says will be out in November.
They've taken to social media with a post that says, "Exciting new coming soon," along with a collage of their album covers and possibly a snippet of new music.
The Who have been play two songs from the album, "Hero Ground Zero" and "Guantanamo" (also referred to as "Big Cigar"), on their Moving On!tour, which is just outside Cleveland tonight (Tuesday). The new album will be their first studio effort since Endless Wirein 2006.
In other Who-related news,Roger Daltrey was on hand Monday for the ribbon-cutting for a teen cancer suite at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Cleveland. It was made possible through the efforts of his Teen Cancer of America foundation. September is Childhood Cancer awareness month.
