Emmy nominee Henry Winkler revealed during an interview with guest host Anthony Anderson on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night (Wednesday) that he's a huge Mick Jagger fan and even got to meet The Rolling Stones singer once when they ended up dining at the same Beverly Hills sushi restaurant. Unfortunately, it didn't quite go as Winkler hoped it would.
Winkler says he approached Jagger, introduced himself and told him how much he admires him, that he has all the Stones albums and had recently gone to one of their shows. He says Jagger turned towards him, said, "Henry," and then went back to eating his dinner.
Winkler "slunk out of the restaurant," after apologizing to Jagger, saying, "I'm so sorry. I didn’t mean to disturb you. Enjoy the sushi. It was such a pleasure. I love your outfit.”
