Bryan Adams and his writing partner Jim Vallance recently received the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame Award at a ceremony at Toronto's Massey Hall.
Commenting on the honor, Adams says, “Thank you to all the artists and organizers who performed and put together the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame... Wow!”
The artists who performed were Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger who did "Summer of '69," and Corey Hart with a medley of "(Everything I Do) I Do It For You" and "Straight from the Heart."
In other Adams news, he has filmed a video for a new version of his 1995 song, "Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman?" It was filmed in Vigo, Spain this past July during his So Happy It Hurts Tour.
Adams re-recorded the 1995 song for Classic, an album of updated versions of 15 songs that will be out on October 28th.
