Ronnie Wood has revealed that the upcoming new album from the Rolling Stones will include contributions from the late Charlie Watts. While talking to The Sun, Wood said that the band is headed to LA to “finish off” the new album in the next few weeks, and Watts and Steve Jordan are both featured.
Jordan replaced Charlie for the Rolling Stones 2022 ‘Sixty’ tour, so he’s a familiar face, which is important; Bill Wyman says he and the rest of the Stones send each other Christmas gifts every year. He says he gets scented candles from Keith Richards every year. Wyman says it’s “still a family thing, social not business.”
