Ozzy, Bryan Adams, Megadeth and More Grammy Hopefuls as the Noms Are Out

The nominations for the 65th GRAMMY awards were released during a ceremony yesterday, and Ozzy Osbourne led the way for rockers with four nominations. Ozzy picked up noms for Best Rock Album for “Patient Number 9,” plus Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song for the title track. He also grabbed a nomination for Best Metal Performance for “Degradation Rules.”

Jeff Beck appears twice in the Best Rock Performance category thanks to his nomination for “Old Man;” he’s also featured on “Patient Number 9” with Ozzy. Others getting nominations yesterday include Bryan Adams, The Black Keys, and Brandi Carlile.

The 2023 GRAMMY Awards will take place on February 5th in Los Angeles.
