Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band started their first tour in six years Wednesday night at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.
They did 28 songs over two-hours and 45-minutes, starting with "No Surrender" and ending the set with "Badlands" before returning with seven encores.
As he stated beforehand, he kept a "balance of good things," and gave the show a "contemporary feel" by mixing in plenty of new songs, including from his recent R&B overs collection, Only the Strong Survive.
Show two is Tonight in Atlanta. The U.S. tour makes a stop in Dallas, next Friday, February 10th and will run through April 14th in Newark, New Jersey before heading to Europe from late April to the end of July.
