Billy Squier is alive.
He has just released the song "Harder on a Woman" on streaming services a week after posting a teaser video on his YouTube channel titled "Rock Returns to Planet Earth."
It's his first rock song since his 1993 album Tell the Truth, which sold less than 40,000 copies.
His last album, 1998's Happy Blues, was a collection of acoustic blues songs.
