Eric Clapton, along with Jeff Beck's widow Sandra Beck, will host an all-star tribute to the guitarist who died on January 10th at the age of 78 from bacterial meningitis.
Set for May 22nd and 23rd at London's Royal Albert Hall, the list of artists who have "indicated their wish to perform" are Rod Stewart, Billy Gibbons, Doyle Bramhall, Gary Clark Junior, Johnny Depp, Imelda May, John McLaughlin, Robert Randolph, Joss Stone, Susan Tedeschi and her husband, Derek Trucks.
Many of these artists, along with Beck, have taken part in many of Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festivals.
Beck replaced Clapton in The Yardbirds in 1965.
Clapton is no stranger to organizing tribute concerts for his friends, having done so with the Concert for George [Harrison], also at the Albert Hall, in 2002, and one for his Cream and Blind Faith bandmate Ginger Baker in 2020.
