Bono & The Edge: A Sort of Homecoming, hosted by David Letterman

U2 are supporting this Friday's release of their new album, Songs of Surrender, with a documentary.

Bono & The Edge: A Sort of Homecoming, hosted by David Letterman, is described as “part concert movie, part travel adventure plus a whole lot of Bono and The Edge, with Dave’s humor throughout.”

Commenting on the song, Letterman says, "I’m still processing it because most songs written about me begin, ‘Hey dumb***,’ so this was an unusual experience.”

Bono & The Edge: A Sort of Homecoming starts streaming on Disney+ this Friday.

U2's new album, Songs of Surrender, which is also the title of Bono's recently published memoir, Surrender - One Story, 40 Songs, is out this Friday, St. Patrick's Day.

Curated and produced by The Edge, they re-recorded and stripped down, or, as he likes to say, "re-imagined" 40 of their songs for more intimate versions.

In addition to new arrangements, in some cases, they even changed the lyrics.

Among the songs with revised lyrics are "Sunday Bloody Sunday," "Where the Streets Have No Name," "Stories for Boys," which The Edge sings, "City of Blinding Lights," and "Walk On," which was rewritten to reflect what's happening in Ukraine.
