Michael Anthony seems to have some plans in store for the rock world once Sammy Hagar’s time with The Circle ends. The former Van Halen bassist recently confirmed he is working on putting a rock supergroup together.
"Well, I wasn't going to mention anything about it,” admitted Anthony in a recent interview. “But there is a little side project thing that I've kind of been speaking to some people, and might be doing a couple of things with.”
The rocker teased a partnership with Bon Jovi guitarist Phil X, Aerosmith drummer John Douglas and a “really, really cool singer.” Anthony refused to name the singer in question, but he did confirm that “we’re recording just for fun now.” Stay tuned, rock fans.
