Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck: Together Again, for "Moon River"

Eric Clapton has paid tribute to Jeff Beck, his longtime friend and replacement in The Yardbirds, by releasing a recording of them doing the classic "Moon River."

Written by Henry Mancini and Johnny Mercer, it was originally performed by Audrey Hepburn in the 1961 movie Breakfast at Tiffany's.

No word on when this recording was made, although they did perform the song when they toured together in 2010.

An animated video for the song will be released this morning at 10 ET.

Clapton will host two tribute shows to Beck on May 22nd and 23rd at London's Royal Albert Hall. Joining him are Rod StewartRonnie WoodBilly GibbonsJoe Perry and many others.

Jeff Beck died on January 10th from bacterial meningitis. He was 78.
