Ringo adds that he won't record the country one until next year due to his tour this year with his All Starr Band.
Country is nothing new to Ringo who sang lead on The Beatles' cover of "Act Naturally," which was originally recorded by the late country singer Buck Owens, and his second album, 1970's Beaucoups of Blues, was a collection of country songs.
Ringo's last three releases have been EPs — Zoom In and Change the World in 2021; and EP3 in 2022.
Ringo and His All Star Band — Steve Lukather, Edgar Winter, Colin Hay and Hamish Stuart — start their spring tour Friday in Temecula, California followed by two nights in Phoenix on Saturday and Sunday. And later this year, October 13th at Winstar World Casion and Resort
