The Doors To Release New Box Set: Fans that have sought bootleg copies of famous performances by The Doors over the years will no longer have to look in the moonlight. The band is releasing a new box set that features recordings of five legendary shows the group played in San Francisco in 1967. “Live At The Matrix 1967: The Original Masters” comes from March of 1967 at the Matrix- a pizza shop-turned-nightclub whose owners included Jefferson Airplanes’ Marty Balin. The limited run will drop September 8th in CD and LP formats.
