Dead Heads Unite! Celebrate 50 Years of "Wake of the Flood" - Due in Sept.

The Grateful Dead will release a 50th anniversary deluxe edition of their sixth album, 1973’s Wake of the Flood, on September 29th. It was their first album with new members Keith and Donna Godchaux, and their first following the death that March of their keyboardist Ron “Pigpen” McKernan and the temporary departure of drummer Mickey Hart. With the announcement of this new collection comes the release of one of the previously unreleased songs it contains, a demo of “Eyes of the World.”
