Little ditty about John and a rich woman… After dating since early this year, the identity of “Jack And Diane” legend John Mellencamp’s girlfriend has finally been revealed.
The 71-year-old rocker is apparently dating 57-year-old Kristin Kehrberg. But Kehrberg isn’t your average woman… she’s reportedly a wealthy widow and socialite. Married to advertising genius Richard “Dick” Tarlow in 2009, Tarlow died last year at the age of 81. The two were caught being very comfortable with one another outside of his granddaughter’s fashion show in LA earlier this month.
Appearing on comedian Bill Maher's Club Random podcast, he said, “She’s a beautiful 57-year-old woman who just walked into my apartment in New York unexpectedly...
“She was with a couple of friends. She walked in. She didn’t know I was going to be there. I didn’t know she was there. We met each other.”
And, he says what makes it work is she "has a really high threshold for tolerance,” adding that she’s “never even got angry at me.” Apparently Mellencamp, who has been married three times and has five children, has forgotten about the honeymoon phase of relationships.
In addition to his three wives, his ex-girlfriends include model and Billy Joel's ex-wife Christie Binkley, and actress Meg Ryan who he was engaged to.
