Jimmy Fallon Gets to Break the Rolling Stones New Album News Tomorrow...

The Rolling Stones will officially announce the release of their new album, Hackney Diamonds, tomorrow morning, 8:30 AM Central.

Scheduled for the Hackney section of London, it will be live-streamed on YouTube with The Tonight Show and excellent Mick Jagger impersonator Jimmy Fallon doing an interview with Mick, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood.

They've posted a video in which Fallon is seen sitting listening to their music when his "Stones" phone rings. On the other end are Mick, Keith and Ronnie telling him that he's needed in London for the livestream event.

They released a statement saying, "Hackney may be at the heart of Hackney Diamonds, but this is a truly global moment we want to share with fans around the world via YouTube.”

And the caption for the video reads as follows: "This Wednesday Sept 6th 2023. Talking new album, new music, new era. Streaming globally on Rolling Stones @youtube."

The Stones have been teasing the album since placing an ad last month in the Hackney Gazette, a London paper, which said:

Hackney Diamonds

Opening September 2023

Our friendly team promises you Satisfaction. When you say Gimme Shelter we’ll fix your shattered windows

That's been followed by video snippets including one of the first single, "Don't Get Angry With Me."

There is also another website, DontGetAngryWithMe.com, that could take a while to load, which has been given the title of the song on purpose. If you're lucky, or patient, you'll hear 15-seconds of the song, which sounds like it's Steve Jordan on drums. But it's also possible that the site crashes. Just try not to get angry.

Last month, when a list surfaced of 12 song titles credited to Michael Philip Jagger and Keith Richards that were reportedly registered with ASCAP, the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers, it listed the song as "Angry" with producer Andrew Watt as a co-writer.

You can stay up-to-date and submit a question to the band at HackneyDiamonds.com.

Hackney Diamonds will be the Stones' first album of original material since 2005's A Bigger Bang, and first studio album since their blues covers collection Blue & Lonesome in 2016.
