Chicago have taken the best of their three Christmas albums -- 1998’s Chicago 25: The Christmas Album and its 2003 reissue, What’s It Gonna Be, Santa?; 2011’s Chicago 33: O Christmas Three; and 2019’s Chicago 37: Chicago Christmas -- and will release them as Chicago Greatest Christmas Hits on November 3rd.
Among the ones deemed worthy of being called a "hit" are “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” “Winter Wonderland,” “Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!” and “Wonderful Christmas Time” with Dolly Parton.
In addition to being available on CD and digitally, it will be pressed onto red vinyl, with Barnes & Noble selling it on green vinyl.
If you want all three of their Christmas albums, they're being bundled together as a three-CD set, Chicago Christmas Complete, that will also be released on November 3rd.
And as we've reported, they'll play two Christmas shows at the Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey on November 17th and 18th with special guests Chris Daughtry, Robin Thicke, Steve Vai, Robert Randolph and others. They're being filmed for the concert TV special Decades Rock Live.
Chicago are on tour this week with shows in San Antonio, Texas on Tuesday; Sugar Land, Texas on Wednesday; and Biloxi, Mississippi on Friday and Saturday.
