Vince Neil cut his solo band's performance at the Oklahoma State Fair short on Saturday, after a shooting took place at another venue located right next to the one he was performing at.
The Motley Crue singer called it a "crazy night" on his social media and said that three-quarters of the way through his set "people started running" and he and his band "were told to get in [the] dressing room. There were shooters shooting people." He thanked his fans for their understanding.
The gunshots were fired about an hour into Neil's set. Police later called the shooting an “isolated incident” that started with an argument between two men and ended when one shot the other in the chest at close range.
The victim is reportedly in critical condition and a suspect has been taken into custody.
In Motley Crue news, they've released the demo of "Louder Than Hell" — with the original title "Hotter Than Hell" — from the upcoming 40th anniversary edition of their second album, Shout at the Devil. It will be out on October 27th.
