Yes: Celebrating When They Were Heard by All Good People

The album that put Yes on the map is being celebrated with a new box set.

1971's The Yes Album has been expanded with rarities, two previously unreleased concerts and fresh mixes by Steven Wilson of Porcupine Tree, including an immersive Dolby Atmos Mix.

The two concerts are from 1971. The first one was just a few weeks before The Yes Album was released, and the second was recorded six months later during their U.S. tour.

The Yes Album was their first with guitarist Steve Howe, who says, "The Yes Album represents to me the invention of '70s Yes. This was aided by leaving outside material off the record and heavily investing in the influences we brought together, particularly the arrangement skills and utilizing the available best technology.

"Our adventurism shows in the originality of the music and lyrics, as none of us had done anything quite like this before."

It will be released on November 24th, Black Friday. The Super Deluxe edition will contain four CDs, a Blu-ray disc and an LP. It will also be available digitally.

And with this news comes the first release, an early take of “I’ve Seen All Good People.”

The current lineup of Yes, which still includes Steve Howe, is in Greensboro, North Carolina tonight (Wednesday), followed by Charleston, South Carolina on Friday and Pompano Beach, Florida on Sunday.
