Steely Dan have been sidelined from opening for the Eagles as frontman Donald Fagen has an undisclosed illness, but is not hospitalized despite a previous report to the contrary.

Don Henley, on stage Monday, acknowledged that the Eagles crew is down five members due to COVID.
Miller is also scheduled to open on Friday in Detroit and October 17th in Cleveland. Eagles singer and guitarist Vince Gill will do double duty and open Sunday's show in Pittsburgh.
Steely Dan band trumpet player and multi-instrumentalist Michael Leonhart posted an update, saying, "All is fine. Just a little illness. We’ll be back on stage soon. Stay tuned…"
