Lenny Kravitz Gets a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

A star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame came Lenny Kravitz's way this morning.

He received the 2774th Walk of Fame plaque outside the landmark Capitol Records tower on Vine Street, after introductory speeches from two actors, his daughter Zoë Kravitz and Denzel Washington.

In his own speech, Kravitz spoke of moving to L.A. at age seven after his mother, actress Roxie Roker, landed a major role in the TV series The Jeffersons.

Kravitz then described places he had walked, worked, shopped and sang -- the Hollywood Bowl, where he gave his first concert as a member of the California Boys Choir at age 12; Leroy's Fish Market, where he worked as a teenager; the original Guitar Center, where he bought his first Les Paul guitar, also at 12; and the A&M lot, where he recorded his first demos under the alter ego Romeo Blue.

You can watch the complete ceremony on the YouTube Clip below courtesy of Variety.
