With Foreigner's farewell tour still going, the band will now try and keep their music alive with a musical.
The band is working in collaboration with the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts and Long Island University’s Post Theatre Company to develop and stage the world premiere Feels Like The First Time – The Foreigner Musical.
Broadway actor and singer Adam Pascal -- Rent, Aida, Cabaret, Chicago and more -- will direct the show, which will feature 14 of the band's hits. It will undergo a developmental workshop and staged reading this fall with the premiere set for April 17th to the 26th at Long Island University’s Little Theatre.
Foreigner manager Phil Carson says, "We are thrilled to partner with the next generation of theatrical talent at LIU to bring this story to life in a bold new way."
To support the production, Foreigner will perform at a benefit concert hosted by the band's original lead singer Lou Gramm at LIU’s Tilles Center on September 5th.
All proceeds will directly benefit Feels Like the First Time and the LIU and Tilles Center’s New Works Initiative.
This is Foreigner's second attempt at a stage production following 2019's Juke Box Hero: The Musical, a coming-of-age saga taken from the title of their 1981 hit off the album 4.
Foreigner will play Choctaw Casino in Durant, Oklahoma on October 3rd, 2025.
