It’s not often a true piece of rock history goes up for sale, but at Julien’s Auctions’ “Music Icons” event on Saturday at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square, a keyboard played by Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler for “Dream On” sold for $130-thousand.
The two-day auction featured items from music legends like Queen, Prince, and Madonna.
Other big sales included Eric Clapton’s guitar for $52-thousand and a Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus signed guitar for $104-thousand.
Tyler’s keyboard was a highlight, drawing huge interest from collectors and fans.

Paul McCartney and Steven Tyler ran into each other in New York City this weekend.
“TMZ” was able to spot the two rockers, who bumped into each other outside the Surrey Hotel on the Upper East Side in a totally random coincidence.
McCartney made his way over to Tyler and the two had a quick chat before the Beatles member made his way into the hotel.
And that was that, a random meetup from two music icons, showing in New York City, a celeb (or two!) is just around the corner.
