After missing all of ZZ Top’s August performances due to an “undisclosed illness,” drummer Frank Beard is set to make his triumphant return behind the kit. ZZ Top has announced that Beard will return to the stage for their September 5th gig in Tulsa.
Beard had been M.I.A. from the band since their August 8th performance in Arcadia, Wisconsin.
This past stint was the second extended period where Beard was unable to perform with the band.
The toue isn't making any stops in North Texas.
