Aerosmith and Yungblud's New "Visualizer Video" & Song, "My Only Angel"

UPDATE TO BELOW STORY......

Aerosmith have released their first new song since their last album, 2012's Music From Another Dimension!

"My Only Angel" is the lead track off their collaborative five-song EP with British singer Yungblud titled One More Time. A visualizer video has premiered on YouTube and you can check it out below.

Co-written by Steven TylerJoe Perry and Yungblud, it opens with Tyler singing a cappella and asking, “Will you cry, if I called you my angel? Would you leave me one more time?” before Yungblud joins in.

The collaboration came about when Yungblud had Aerosmith join him in the studio with the intention of them playing on "Hello Heaven, Hello” on his new album, Idols. What began as a guest spot soon turned into a writing session, eventually evolving into a five-track EP.

Backed by Perry, Brad WhitfordTom Hamilton, and former Guns N' Roses and Velvet Revolver drummer Matt Sorum in place of Joey Kramer, the four other songs are "Problems," "Wild Woman," "A Thousand Days," and a "2025 Mix" of Aerosmith's 1976 classic, "Back in the Saddle."

The EP's artwork, a combination of their logos -- Aerosmith's wings and YungBlud's skull -- was designed by Hollywood luxury brand Chrome Hearts.

On stage Wednesday night at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles with The Joe Perry Project, Tyler said they've kept this project a secret for four months.

One More Time will be released on CD, vinyl (black, red and clear), and digitally on November 21st.

Tyler, Perry and Yungblud collaborated last week at the MTV Video Music Awards in tribute to Ozzy Osbourne, doing “Mama I’m Coming Home.”

Tyler and Yungblud were also part of Ozzy and Black Sabbath's last show, Back to the Beginning, on July 5th in Birmingham, England, and Yungblud reportedly attended Ozzy's funeral.

Aerosmith have collaborated with Yungblud on a five-song EP.

Titled One More Time, the five songs are:

  1. "My Only Angel"
  2. "Problems"
  3. "Wild Woman"
  4. "A Thousand Days"
  5. "Back in the Saddle" (2025 Mix)

The first single they've been teasing is "My Only Angel," which will be released tomorrow.

This EP marks the band's first new music since their last album, 2012's Music From Another Dimension!

What we don't know is if the band's Brad WhitfordTom Hamilton and Joey Kramer joined Steven Tyler and Joe Perry on the recording of these songs.

Tyler, Perry and Yungblud took part in a tribute to Ozzy Osbourne last week at the MTV Video Music Awards in Elmont, New York.

Steven Tyler joined The Joe Perry Project, which includes Brad Whitford, for three songs last night in Los Angeles when they opened for The Who at the Hollywood Bowl.

Steven TylerJoe Perry and Yungblud's tribute to Ozzy Osbourne last week at the MTV Video Music Awards in Elmont, New York either led to the three of them collaborating on a new song, or was preceded by it.

All three have posted on Instagram a snippet of themselves in the studio recording what they are calling "My Only Angel." Yungblud also posted a video of him and Tyler embracing with Tyler saying, "We got a secret." The Aerosmith Instagram account also shared the track on its Story, and their profile image now has the Aerosmith and Yungblud logos intertwined.

While no other details are available, if this song is released under the Aerosmith umbrella, it will be their first recording since their 2012 album, Music From Another Dimension!
