“From Zero” is Here!
Linkin Park's eighth album has finally arrived christening Emily Armstrong into the group with their first album since the death of Chester Bennington. Mike Shinoda, has the band back together with guitarist Brad Delson, bassist Dave Farrell, DJ Joe Hahn and new drummer Colin Brittain.
Linkin Park dropped "Two Faced" to promote the release. The new song is classic Linkin Park, right down to the bars dropped by Mike Shinoda, that are amplified by Emily Armstrong's vocals, the video is a performance piece with the band dressed in black suits like a super powered group straight out of a cyberpunk anime.
Linkin Park released "Over Each Other" last month, as From Zero is due out November 15th. You can pre-order the album now on the Linkin Park Website.
Linkin Park rocked League Of Legends fans with the single "Heavy Is The Crown!"
From the upcoming album From Zero "Heavy Is The Crown" is the second single off the album, that introduced the world to the new line-up of the band. The song is the 2024 League of Legends World Championship anthem, as the band has partnered with Riot Games and the video for the song features the group in an animated performance with League Of Legends cinematics.
“It’s been an amazing experience partnering with Riot to bring this anthem to the global League of Legends community,” said Mike Shinoda. “The song is a real highlight of this new era for us, harnessing our signature sound and infusing it with fresh energy. We’re so excited for players and fans to experience this!”
The video doesn't seem to have a direct connection to the hit Netflix series Arcane, but being that the next season is upcoming you never know.
Linkin Park made their comeback with new singer Emily Armstrong, and announced a world tour and album. The band live-streamed a performance and fans are chomping at the bit for more. Linkin Park have is kicking off their tour in L. A. and the album, “From Zero” is set for release on Nov. 15. This will be the band's first work since, “One More Light” in 2017, and the death of Chester Bennington.
Armstrong hit the stage with the band and performed the new single “The Emptiness Machine” as well as the classic “Numb” and “In the End.” They also debuted a new drummer, Colin Brittain, from A Day to Remember.
