Carlos Santana Apologizes For Saying Beyoncé "Is Not A Singer"

Carlos Santana issued an apology Tuesday after he said that Beyoncé is "not a singer" while explaining in an interview why Adele won the Album of the Year Grammy.

The interview he's referring to with the Australian Associated Press he is quoted as saying "I think that Adele won because she can sing sing." Santana went on to say "With all respect to our sister Beyoncé, Beyoncé is very beautiful to look at and it's more like modeling kind of music – music to model a dress – she's not a singer singer, with all respect to her."

Santana went on to also suggested that Beyoncé relies too much on dancers and props, which may have swayed Grammy voters to vote for Adele.

Santana said "Adele doesn't bring all the dancers and props, she can just stand there and she just stood there and sang the song and that's it, and this is why she wins."

You may remember Santana & Beyonce performed during the pregame celebration before Super Bowl XXXVII in 2003
