SpaceX Sending 2 Tourists Around The Moon

Get ready all you would-be astronauts....

SpaceX, the company headed by billionaire Elon Musk, has agreed to send two private citizens on a loop around the moon on a privately crewed Dragon Spacecraft in 2018.

Musk says the journey will cover approximately 400,000 miles and will fly past the surface of the moon, but not land - and continue outward before gravity turns the spacecraft around and brings it back to Earth for a landing.

SpaceX said in a statement that the would-be passengers "have already paid a significant deposit to do a moon mission", and Musk called the cost “comparable” to that of sending astronauts to the International Space Station. Nasa currently pays about $70 million per person to fly astronauts to the ISS.

So.... would ya??
