The National Recording Registry has added 25 new recordings that they deem "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant".

Started in 2000, the librarian of the Library of Congress selects 25 recordings from the beginning of recorded technology to ten years ago for induction based on recommendations from the library's National Recording Preservation Board (NRPB).
