Roger Daltrey Designs 'Tommy' Themed Rolls Royce

Now this is pretty cool!

Roger Daltrey of The Who has curated a special edition Tommy themed Rolls Royce, and on the hood is the artwork from the 1969 album.

Daltrey’s Rolls is actually one of nine cars being produced for the ‘Inspired by Music Collection’.

Others were designed by Ronnie Wood of The Rolling Stones, Sir Ray Davies of The Kinks and Giles Martin, son of The Beatles producer Sir George Martin.

The Who car features the band’s famous bullseye logo, on the face of the dashboard clock and stitched into the leather waterfall between the two rear seats.

Lyrics from Join Together and I Can See for Miles are engraved in the doors.

Daltrey’s signature is embroidered into the headrest.

The back of the driver’s seat has an image of drummer Keith Moon’s Pictures of Lily drum kit exploding.
