Tony Romo To Try And Qualify For U.S. Open

Tony Romo is enjoying his free time by attempting to qualify for this year's U.S. Open Golf Tournament.

Romo is no slouch when it comes to golf. In fact the former Cowboys QB made it out of local qualifying for the U.S. Open back in 2010.

This year, once again he'll have to play an 18-hole local qualifier (this coming Monday) at Split Rail Links and Golf Club in Aledo, about 30 minutes west of Fort Worth.

If he advances, the next step is sectional qualifying on June 5 to get into the U.S. Open at Erin Hills in  his home state of Wisconsin.

Good luck Tony!
