Veteran Stands For 11 Days In 'Stand To Honor' Fundraiser

I may have done my part (below) but it was a drop in the bucket compared to Air Force Veteran Chance Frank.

Frank stood about 15 hours a day, for 11 days to raise awareness and donations for the Stand To Honor Fundraiser.

The event was held in Victory Plaza at the AAC where volunteers stood on boxes with footprints of fallen service members. Their goal was to raise $1 million in scholarship funds for Gold Star families.

After hearing about Frank's efforts, local business KE Andrews Tax stepped up and offered to match all the last minute donations to help them achieve their goal.

Talk about TEAMWORK!

Representing @lonestar925, and standing for 13 minutes which represents 13 folds of an American flag given to families of fallen soldiers. I'm doing this to help get @foldsofhonor to the $1 million goal to help fund 200 educational scholarships for spouses and children of America's fallen and disabled service members and Goldstar families. We need your help to reach this goal and you can show your support by going to and make your donation. @standtohonor #foldsofhonor #standtohonor
