Gotta give Ted Nugent credit...
After years of giving the left both barrels it appears he's softening his stance in his old age. The 69 year old Nugent said in a recent interview it was his wife Shemane that convinced him to mellow out.
"At the tender age of 69, my wife has convinced me that I just can’t use those harsh terms,” he explained. “I cannot, and I will not, and I encourage even my friends/enemies on the left in the Democrat and liberal world that we have got to be civil to each other. I’m going to take a deep breath and I am going to back it down, and if it gets fiery, if it gets hateful, I’m going away. I’m not going to engage in that kind of hateful rhetoric anymore."
Well I for one applaud Ted for realizing that finding common ground is the first step toward real change and progress.
Nugent took to Facebook to expound on his new philosophy.
