Puppy Recovering After Being Pulled From Hot Car In Austin

I hate seeing stories like this, but this one thankfully has a happy ending.

Yesterday a 10-week old German Shepherd-Husky mix, was rescued from a hot car in the town of Manor, near Austin. You can see the dramatic rescue in the video below.

The owner, Chandler Bullen, 20, was booked into the Travis County Jail after he allegedly left his 10-week-old puppy locked inside a hot car, saying he "didn't want to waste gas."

Once freed from the sweltering car, officials took her to Doctor Katharine Lund at the Austin Animal Center.
