Parker County Mother Charged in Deaths of Children Found in Hot Car

I hate seeing stories like this, but this Texas heat is no joke, and children should NEVER be left in a hot car.

Apparently this 24-year-old Fort Worth mother thought she'd teach her kids a lesson by leaving them in the car when they refused to go inside. So she went inside her house, smoked weed, and fell asleep. When she woke up she discovered the kids unresponsive, so she broke the car window to make it look like an accident, like she was trying to rescue them.

She later admitted to authorities she had initially left them in there to teach them a lesson.

Cynthia Marie Randolph, 24, was arrested Friday on two counts of causing injury to a child, and faces first-degree felony charges.
