Today is Ringo Starr's 77th birthday and he's throwing an enormous free party. Ringo is inviting family, friends and the public to come together in a moment of “Peace & Love” at noon on 7/7 during Ringo Starr’s Peace & Love Birthday Celebration at the Capitol Records Tower in Hollywood.
At the celebration Ringo will perform with an all-star band outside the Capitol Records Tower, joined by Van Dyke Parks and Jenny Lewis, among others; The official released guest list includes Starr's brother-in-law Joe Walsh, Nils Lofgren, Eric Burdon, Edgar Winter and David Lynch, most of whom can be expected to join him for the show.
Ringo also invites everyone everywhere to think, say, or post #PeaceandLove at Noon their local time, thus generating a wave of “Peace & Love” that moves over the planet on July 7 starting at Noon in New Zealand and ending at Noon in Hawaii.

Ringo also announced his 19th solo album Give More Love, out September 15th
Guests on the album include his former Beatles bandmate Paul McCartney, as well as his brother in law Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit, Peter Frampton, Edgar Winter, Richard Marx, Glen Ballard and Steve Lukather.
