Heading to a Texas Rangers game after August 3rd? Get ready for more traffic headaches.
The Rangers sent out notifications that effective August 3rd they'll begin utility work on their new retractable-roof stadium, which means portions of Nolan Ryan Expressway as well as the remainder of Parking Lot A and a section of Parking Lot B will be closed to facilitate that work.
I assume this will affect those trying to attend Cowboys games as well. The first preseason game is Saturday August 19th.
More closures will happen in September when ballpark excavation work is expected to begin.
