Yesterday we celebrated Mick Jagger's 74th birthday. Today he gives us two new presents... two new solo songs, "England Lost" and "Get a Grip." There's even a few funky remixes of "Get A Grip" below.
Mick says he wrote the politically charged tracks in response to the "anxiety [and] unknowability of the changing political situation." He added, "We obviously have a lot of problems. So am I politically optimistic? … No."
