We see it all day, every day. People driving while distracted.
Whether on their cell phones, smart devices, eating, putting on makeup... it seems the act of driving is never the priority.
You may remember a while back we learned that starting September 1st, a state wide ban on texting while driving takes affect. Well that's not all....
Anyone applying for a driver license in the state of Texas for the very first time will also have to take a distracted driver’s test. 18 to 24 year olds will have to take a six-hour test.
For anyone older than that, it will be a one-hour test on top of other existing requirements.
