Forbes Magazine today published the latest NFL Franchise values, and once again the Dallas Cowboys are the most valuable sports team in the world, now worth $4.8 billion.
The Cowboys also lead the NFL by a long shot, ahead of the nearest franchise (the New England Patriots) by more than a billion dollars. Forbes reports the Cowboys' value rose 14 percent over last year.
Keep in mind Jerry Jones paid $140 million for the Cowboys and Cowboys Stadium back in 1989, which means the team is worth roughly 17 times more than what he paid for it.
On a day when most of Cowboys Nation is bummed out, this news oughta make Jerry smile... just a bit wider.
