According to a new interview with Billboard, Ringo Starr has acknowledged the next box set from The Beatles will indeed be a 50th Anniversary edition of their seminal 1969 album, Abbey Road. Ringo commented "I've loved all the re-releases because of the remastering, and you can hear the drums, which got dialed down in the old days." No release date has been set yet, but the actual 50th anniversary is 9/26 (UK) and 10/1 (US). Stay tuned!
