The Cars Final Performance At The 2018 Rock Hall Induction Ceremony

Brandon Flowers of the Killers gave an impassioned induction speech, citing many of the same reasons I fell in love with the post-punk, new wave trailblazers.

Then vocalist-guitarist Ric Ocasek, guitarist Elliot Easton, keyboardist Greg Hawkes, and drummer David Robinson each took turns at the mic to express their appreciation. They also acknowledged the group's late singer-bassist, Benjamin Orr who passed away in 2000 of pancreatic cancer.

When it came time for the performance, The Cars began with "You Might Think," followed by "Moving in Stereo", "Just What I Needed," and wrapped with "My Best Friends Girl." On all four songs, they were helped out by Weezer's Scott Shriner on bass in place of Benjamin Orr.
