On This Day In 1971 The Doors Got Into Town, Took A Look Around.

Released on this day in 1971, ‘L.A. Woman’ is the sixth studio album by The Doors. The last to be recorded with Jim Morrison, who would be dead three months later, it featured two of the band’s biggest hit singles, “Love Her Madly” and “Riders on the Storm”,” as well as the title track. The album peaked at #9 in the US and has sold more than 4 million copies worldwide.
