Born on this day in 1946, Ronald Belford "Bon" Scott, the Scottish singer and songwriter, best known as lead vocalist and lyricist of AC/DC from 1974 until his death in 1980, would have turned 78 today. Sadly, we lost Bon on February 19, 1980, from what doctors called "acute alcohol poisoning" and classified as "death by misadventure" but thankfully his music lives on.
