On This Day In 1976 'Frampton Comes Alive'

It was on this day in 1976 when Frampton Comes Alive!, a double live album by Peter Frampton, was released. Featuring the singles "Show Me the Way", "Baby, I Love Your Way", and "Do You Feel Like We Do" the album would hit #1 on the US Album chart and stay there for 10 weeks, becoming the best-selling album of 1976. The album would eventually sell over 8 million copies in the US and become one of the best-selling live albums to date, with estimated sales of 11 million worldwide. It would remain on the US Album chart for 97 weeks.
