Record Store Day 2023 is coming up on April 22nd, and the complete list of releases came out this week.
Here are some of the releases I'll be keeping an eye out for:
- The Allman Brothers Band - Syria Mosque - Pittsburgh, PA 1-17-71 - 2LP
- The Black Keys - Live at Beachland Tavern March 31, 2002 - LP. (this is a recording of their very first show)
- The Doors - “Love Her Madly,” “Hello, I Love You,” “Break on Through (To the Other Side)” (these special singles are designed to be played on The Doors' RSD3 mini-turntable)
- Jerry Garcia Band - How Sweet It Is: Live at Warfield Theatre, San Francisco 1990 - 2 LP. (reissue of a live album from 1997.
- The Grateful Dead - Boston Garden, Boston, MA 5/7/77 - 5 LP (vinyl debut for this classic concert)
- Pearl Jam - Give Way - CD, 2 LP (1998 concert from the Yield tour in Australia)
- Van Halen - LIVE: Right Here, Right Now - 4 LP (1993 live document of the Sammy Hagar era w/3 tracks not on the CD edition)
- Warren Zevon - The Wind - LP (his last studio album gets its vinyl debut)
