Growing up in Marietta Georgia, both Chris and Rich Robinson of The Black Crowes were huge fans of Athens own R.E.M. so it must have been quite a thrill to invite Peter Buck on-stage Wednesday night in Portland, during an intimate acoustic show as 'Brothers of a Feather' for a cover of the R.E.M. classic “7 Chinese Bros” off 1984’s Reckoning. during the encore.
